EXCEL School of Performing Arts has since 1994 offered a unique, performance-based course earning graduates a NZQA-accredited Certificate of Performance in Dance, Drama or Music (Music students majoring in Guitar, Drums, Keys, Bass or Vocals).
Here at EXCEL School of Performing Arts we are passionate about investing into the young performing artists of the future.
Entry is by auditions which are held from late October in Auckland, Rotorua, Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch.
Study Guitar or Ukulele with Robin Cederman or Bass and acoustic guitar with Jacqui Nyman. These guitar lessons are available at Rata Studios in Wellington.
It will take children through the fundamentals of three different instruments; guitar, drums and keyboard, learning the basics of each. It provides a great musical foundation for children, and helps students decide which instrument they are most interested in pursuing in the future.
Out of School Music classes are intended to give all primary school children the opportunity to learn a musical instrument.
We offer our students a range of musical styles and genres on the bass guitar and can follow the Rockschool and Trinity Rock and Pop syllabus.
If you are a beginner or already have some musical ability, it's never to late to learn or re-learn - whether you are eight years old or eighty!
