Guitar Lessons

You will learn the basics of the instrument and the theory behind what you are doing as well as being shown the styles and chops of many of the world’s great bands and artists such as Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Green Day.

All of our full time bass guitar courses cover the key areas of technical skill associated with playing the bass, such as use of the fingerboard, applied fingerboard harmony, time and groove, slap and dead note finger funk, walking bass, soloing, harmonics etc.

Pupils may start on acoustic or classical guitar from year 3. Guitars can be purchased from retailers in different sizes as most appropriate to the child. Pupils may also receive lessons on electric guitar and bass guitar normally after learning the acoustic / classical guitar for some time.

We have the very best, qualified and friendly guitar teachers in Liverpool. Lessons are tailored to the individual, whether you want to take grades or just play for fun. We have learners of all ages – our youngest pianist is 5 and our oldest is 62!

You will learn all the basics of the instrument and how to use it including simple chords and melodies of your fav songs, rock, pop, jazz, blues, and other genres. You learn how to hold the guitar, your right and left hand techniques, how music fits together and so much more.
