Our guitar teachers teach rock, blues, metal, country and classical guitar lessons on electric and acoustic guitars. Beginner students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading, and theory
During our guitar lessons, students learn the parts of the guitar, strumming, fingerstyle and technique. We teach students how to read music with standard notation and tablature (tab), a form of notation specific to the guitar that shows where the notes are played on the instrument itself
Kids learn to play guitar in a fun and supportive group setting with some of their favorite songs. This hands-on class helps kids play music right away. Students learn rhythm, melody, creating a good tone, and listening so they can play music with others.
We guide our guitar students to success during each guitar lesson. We believe that success builds upon itself. We have guitar lessons enjoyable for children as well as adults
Some skills are learned better in groups. The Child Play Music School student not only learns solo playing skills, but ensemble skills as well. In our small group classes students get training in many secondary instruments
