Instructors:
Generally, volunteer private teachers donate an hour of their time per week, teaching two students for a half-hour each. If you are interested in volunteering as a teacher at W.O. Smith Music School,
Requirements:
Students must be between the ages of 9 and 18 years old. Students must be proficient in reading music OR have completed the Basic Musicianship class at W.O. Smith.
Schedule:
Private lessons are offered during school hours, Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am–6:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am–12:00 pm. Lesson times are based on the schedules of the participating student and his or her teacher.

Our Mission:
Guitar Lessons are offered by NY Ensemble Classes. Our classes are taught by two instructors specialized in different instruments. Each ensemble is assigned to multiple teachers scheduled on rotation. This unique course design provides an enhanced and deeper learning experience.
