The learners will be able to explain the rights, powers, functions and duties of the workplace health and safety representative and how any errant health, safety and environmental issues may be handled.
Learners will also be able to participate in the safety, health and environmental structures and measure these activities according to health, safety and environmental requirements.

Hand Tool Safety training is offered by OHS Consultants. This course will enable all that works with hand tools and supervisors to work safely with hand tools. OHS Consultants are accredited at QCTO and other SETA’s and take pride in our quality of training.
On completion of this course, the successful learner will be credited with this unit standard, which means they can demonstrate an integrated practical and theoretical grounding in crane operations.
Forklift Safety training is offered by Isibane Academy. Isibane offers a wide variety of accredited skills development opportunities. These could be in the form of skills programmes or individually registered Unit Standards to address specific training needs.
The person credited with this unit standard will be able to describe the components of prefabricated aluminium alloy scaffolding. They will be able to assemble and dismantle prefabricated aluminium alloy scaffolding safely and efficiently at a work site.
