Looking to work in western Canada’s Oil and Gas industry? H2S can be a deadly gas – learn how to work around H2S safely, Your Life Depends On It. Our H2S Alive course in Edmonton is Enform certified and the only course recognized by the industry.

This course is designed for anyone working in an industrial environment where H2S (hydrogen sulfide) may be present.

 

What You Will Learn from our H2S Alive Training:

Participants who take our H2S Alive course in Edmonton are trained in the identification of dangerous exposure levels, how to do a proper hazard assessment, and are also taught the skills necessary for following a response strategy to rescue a casualty of H2S environments. 

In addition, students receive hands-on training in using the right equipment; including training in response strategies, CPR, H2S signs and symptoms, as well as acceptable exposure limitations.

Our H2S course can be delivered on- site in the field or at our training facility in Edmonton.

 

H2S Alive Training Course content:

  • Physical properties and locations of H2S

  • Occupational exposure limits, toxicity levels, and scales

  • Gas detection and monitoring

  • Initial response strategy

  • Using Supplied-Air breathing Apparatus (SABA)

  • Using Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)

  • Rescue Techniques
