After graduating from the course, the student is required to complete 2000 hours of on-the-job apprenticeship training before writing the Certificate of Qualification examination to become a licensed Hairstylist.
Students will be exposed to the most relevant and modern aspects of Hair Styling. Students will be given the knowledge required to undertake a career in Hair Styling and start their own business in the Hair Styling field. Students will also learn the importance of professional ethics and work with L’Oreal Professional Color Treatments, Matrix and Rusk products.
Edge College is registered as a Private Career College (PCC) under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 (PCCA). We offer Diploma courses in Business, Beauty, Health, and Information Technology. These programs are approved as vocational programs under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
