Other wonderful sampler style quilts include The Farmers Wife Quilt, Civil War Diary Quilt & Civil War Love Letter Quilt. You must have your own copy of the book for these quilts
Template Quilts such as Periwinkle Star, Prairie Star or the Savannah Quilt are examples of wonderful repeating pattern quilts available as patterns with templates for easy rotary cutting. You will need to purchase your own pattern You can also obtain help with your own choice of Quilt.
Class is from 2pm to 5pm.Class fee is $260.00 and covers all 10 classes.Casual classes are available and cost $35 per class. Casual classes must be booked and paid for in advance of the class you wish to attend.
You must supply your own project. Please call in to the shop or email us to sign up for classes all 10 classes or to book in for a casual class.
Missed classes cannot be made up or refunded.Once your first class has commenced there are no refunds.Cancellations made 2 weeks before your first Class will be refunded less a $50 administration fee. After this date no refunds will be given.

You will learn how to work in knits and stretch and the differences between these types of fabrics. You will get a comprehensive information sheet on elastics building on what you learnt in my beginner’s class.
We provide fun and friendly classes for all your Knitting Crochet & Weaving needs.
Do you want to understand working with knit (stretch) fabrics? This class takes you through fabric selection, cutting and techniques for working with knit fabrics. You can make a basic t- shirt in the process (allow at least 2 classes).
Crochet is much more than a Granny Square! The therapeutic and health benefits of crochet are well recognized; and as a sustainable textile craft - homewares, accessories, and wearables can be made using short-end and leftover yarn in various colours, weights, and textures creating items.
You will be hooked when you learn the basics of crocheting and how to read patterns. Be amazed at the variety of things you will be able to make from just a few basic stitches. Crocheting is a wonderful and relaxing past time.
