Course Details

This is a nationally recognised program designed for those who require training on how to apply hazard analysis in the workplace to monitor hazards and control risks.

This training course is designed to teach participants how to accurately complete a Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) in accordance with their workplace procedures.

 

Course Elements

The essential outcomes for the course as prescribed in the unit of competency requirements are:

MSMWHS201 – Conduct hazard analysis: Define the context for the hazard analysis, identify hazards, assess risks, control risks, monitor and review risk control.

RIIRIS201E – Conduct local risk control: Plan and prepare for risk control, assess and identify unacceptable risk, identify, assess and implement risk treatments, complete records and reports.

 

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion students will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework for the following units of competency:

MSMWHS201 – Conduct hazard analysis
RIIRIS201E – Conduct local risk control

 

Course Venue

Training and assessment is conducted at the 3D Safety Training Centre or training can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there have suitable training facilities.
