Hazard Identification and Risk Control

This training is required by law for OH&S Committee, employer, and worker representatives who have taken the initial committee training. It is also beneficial to any who may be involved in conducting an investigation.

In this section the trainee will learn the pre-shift requirements for a Mobile Elevated Work Platform, safe work procedures, emergency procedures and will be introduced to the variety of types of Aerial Work Platforms.

Focuses on the reduction of the effects of disasters through established and proven workplace emergency plans, procedures, and training. Evaluates the issues that arise prior to, during, and immediately following an emergency, as well as the long-range recovery challenges that follow.

Wheel Loader Training is a Heavy Equipment Entry-Level course required for anyone who will be operating a wheel loader on the worksite. A driver’s license and 10th grade education is required, and other prerequisites may also include WHMIS training, Ground Disturbance Level Two
