This course is designed to meet the training requirements of HMR Part §172 Subpart H and will provide participants familiarity with the requirements of the Hazardous Materials Regulations and enable them to recognize and identify hazardous materials.
Topics covered will include the identification of hazardous materials, the hazard classification system, how to use the hazardous materials table, requirements for packaging/marking/labeling, placard requirements, shipping papers, segregation, other HMR training requirements, and how to handle incident reporting.
