Performing any activity or task in the modern workplace involves, to some extent, the use and application of materials and substances. Many of the substances used in the workplace are however hazardous to the health and safety of people and/or the environment.
This course is designed to give candidates a greater understanding of different types of lasers, the health requirements and legal requirements associated with the use of lasers.
Hazardous Chemical Substances training is offered by Horizon SHE Training Consultants. Horizon S.H.E. Training Consultants specializes in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) related training.
Hazardous Substance Handling training is offered by PSD Safety Training. We will strive to assist learners through quality education, training and recognition of prior learning, to fully realize their potential.
This unit standard requires of learners to demonstrate the ability to monitor, advise and report on compliance with legislation regarding hazardous substances.
