Hazardous Substances In The Working Place

Hazardous Substances course is offered by Eastcape Training Centre (ETC). The ETC is an established Training Centre as well as a Private FET College, aimed at providing and improving skills in a variety of disciplines.

The ETC is committed to uplifting the community, and ensuring that the economy has an able and capable workforce; this is done by providing access to scarce skills development and providing, fully equipped facilities and equipment to satisfy the needs and aspirations of individuals and organisations alike.

Learning Outcomes:

• Monitor, advise and report on the scope and understanding of the specified requirements as regards to hazardous substances in a work place
• Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to the application of methods in preventing exposure to hazardous substances in the work place
• Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to the classification, physical state, health effects and disposal methods of hazardous substances in a workplace
