This program is designed to help students recognize and understand the new updates to the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (1910.1200). Each student will be given a complete listing of the nine (9) standard pictograms, a sample product label in the new required format, a sample Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and a sample “Written Hazard Communication Program” all of which will be used in group “hands on” projects.
A video presentation will follow formal lecture and power point. Each student will be tested through a written exam (multiple choice questions) to demonstrate student’s competency of the course material.
