About Us
Sensea Maritime Academy, one of the oldest Maritime Training Institute in the East was started way back in 1999 in Shakespeare Sarani and continued operations there until 30th Sept 2019. The need to expand and provide better infrastructure led to the formation of the present campus which started its operation in 2017.
Presently this is the only registered campus of Sensea Maritime Academy where all the Directorate General Of Shipping approved courses are conducted. Since its inception, the institute has been constantly expanding its range of offered maritime courses and presently stands as one of the premiere institutes in the region.

Diploma in hazards management course is offered by spark college of fire & safety. We have well equipped and species lab for a practicle, we have big space for a drill that is a around of two acre.
This course meets the requirements of stcw section b-v/b and b-v/c and is based on the guidelines of the imdg code, cfr 49 and imo model course 1.10.
The most important reason for hazardous materials and dangerous goods training is to ensure the health and safety of workers, workplaces, properties, and the environment.
Employers are obliged to have a written Hazard Communication Program (HCP) if their employees are to be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
