About Us
Helping New Zealanders to have safer workplaces, schools, events, households, and recreational clubs is our passion. We’re in the business of saving lives - and it’s not something we take lightly.
We are able to assist organisations or individuals to undertake training in their chosen fields, whether it be completing a qualification or individual unit standards.
Links Training will consult with you to understand your organisation's specific needs and requirements. We will work with you to develop a training course that can be flexible to meet your needs including times, venues and dates.
Our mission is to equip businesses and communities with the First Aid knowledge, skills, and most importantly, the confidence to help others in an emergency situation.
We are not just First Aid specialists, we can offer a complete portfolio of training and services such as Health and Safety, Drug and Alcohol Screening, Electrical Workers Competency, and more.
This course is for Health and Safety representatives, Team Leaders, Supervisors and first line Managers. The course enhances the knowledge and skills gained during Stage 1, and develop the personal and written skills required to conduct a formal incident/accident Investigation.
This course teaches how to work safely to erect non-notifiable and prefabricated frame scaffolding up to five metres in height and does not require a Certificate of Competence or notification to WorkSafe NZ. It is ideal for residential construction scaffold requirements.
Having operators formally trained means the Employer complies with WorkSafe NZ Health and Safety (OSH) requirements for the workplace and NZ Transport Agency requirements. The course consists of theory and practical assessments for a Forklift.
People credited with this unit standard are able to identify: criteria where the Safety Observer is required to control, monitor and maintain safety for activity; hazardous environments and activities requiring safety observer control.
Trainees will be able to establish planned and safe entry and conduct confined space rescues featuring various scenarios.
