This course is aimed at those in the building trade who require a basic knowledge of the types of products they may come across that can contain asbestos, and an awareness of the health risks of exposure to asbestos.
This course is designed to introduce the Act and explain how workers and managers can apply this knowledge practically in the workplace. The course also covers effective hazard and risk management and an overview of accident reporting and investigation.
Completing this course will ensure Operators are formally trained in a safe, efficient and legal manner. This course is designed for trainees who have had some prior experience in operating forklifts.
