The Health and Safety at Work Act (2015) "recognises that a well-functioning health and safety system relies on participation, leadership, and accountability by government, business and workers."
This means that everyone has a role to play in protecting workers and others from harm to their health, safety, and welfare from work. That is why it is important for workers and employers to understand how the Act relates to them and to their roles in the workplace.
