DurationThere is a growing wealth of the evidence for using a health coaching approach particularly with patients who have the following conditions: diabetes, asthma, smoking cessation, obesity, cardiovascular disease, mental health and medication adherence.
Health coaching has also been identified as an effective intervention in reviews of self-care support from both the Kings Fund and Health Foundation.
