The half-day course considers the statutory requirements for construction health and safety, how it is enforced, and your obligations as a business operating in the building industry.
The Building Safety Group (BSG), in partnership with solicitor, Richard Voke (Temple Bright), has launched a new training program which is exclusive for BSG members: ‘Health & Safety Leadership in Construction: The Legal Requirements’.
The half-day course considers the statutory requirements for construction health and safety, how it is enforced, and your obligations as a business operating in the building industry.
Whilst every precaution should be taken to avoid health and safety incidents, accidents are an unfortunate and inevitable fact of life. An HSE investigation following a serious incident has the potential to become very stressful and difficult to manage.
There is often little time to think properly about the incident being investigated and how best to formulate the company’s responses.
BSG’s course ‘Health & Safety Leadership in Construction: The Legal Requirements’, delivered by Richard Voke, will demonstrate how companies must seek to ensure that their policies and systems are designed to quickly and effectively respond; in order to minimise any potential likelihood of repetition and to properly manage any potential consequences for affected parties.
During the session, Richard Voke, who specialises in Health & Safety law for construction companies, will address:
Welcome to the Building Safety Group (BSG), the UK’s largest construction safety group for Health, Safety and Environmental advice. We are a not for profit organisation with over fifty years’ experience of providing specialist consultancy services for our members throughout the country.
This Level 1 qualification is designed to provide candidates with fundamental knowledge and understanding of health and safety in a construction environment.
SMSTS Refresher Course is offered by LHT Health & Safety. We believe that good health and safety is about managing the risks, not responding to events.
???????This course is to bring delegates up to date with current legislation and standards affecting the management and organisation of construction projects. Assist course delegates in examining the extent to which they meet their own safety, health and welfare responsibilities at work.
The aim for this CDM training is to ensure everyone involved in a construction project understands their roles and responsibilities and knows how to fulfil them in a safe and effective manner.
This course is for you if you’re considering, or already have, responsibilities for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff.
