Course Details

Employers are responsible for providing safe and healthy workplace conditions and have suitable systems / methods in place for safe working activities. In order to make the systems work, employees have a vital part to play in this equation.

They need the right knowledge and attitude which demands proper training in the basics of health and safety as well as specific training for individual tasks. Good Health & Safety standards rely on employers and employees working together to reduce risks.

This qualification was formerly an Qfqual QCF but has recently been changed to RQF and is based on the Foundation Certificate in Health & Safety with new and updated content. The qualification can be tailored to individual customer needs to make the learning experience relevant and fit for purpose. If convenient, the group can be taken to an operational area to witness and discuss various aspects of work being undertaken, this may include a look into the CoSHH cupboard.
