You’ll also learn what to do to support EMS after they arrive on the scene. AHASTI's MFR program provides you with 3 distinct credentials.

100% attendance is required for this course. Please ensure that no personal appointments are scheduled during course times.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundational course for healthcare professionals and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
This course covers the CPR & AED protocols and equipment that are specific to health care providers.
Calgary First Aid proudly offers workplace-approved health care provider CPR (CPR HCP) courses. This course is the most comprehensive CPR course offered through the workplace approved.
Basic Life Support (BLS) teaches participants how to respond to emergences with basic life support skills.
