Heart And Stroke BLS Course

AHASTI's Medical First Responder (MFR) program will teach you the essential skills required to provide first-on-scene, basic emergency care to people before Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrives.

You’ll also learn what to do to support EMS after they arrive on the scene. AHASTI's MFR program provides you with 3 distinct credentials.

AHASTI Medical First Responder (MFR) Certification:

• Canadian Red Cross Advanced First Aid Certification

• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Basic Provider Certification

Certifications Earned:

Upon successful completion of this program you will have earned the following tickets:

• AHASTI Medical First Responder (MFR) Certification

• Canadian Red Cross Advanced First Aid Certification

• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Basic Provider Certification

Additional Information:

100% attendance is required for this course. Please ensure that no personal appointments are scheduled during course times.

Students will be required to have their own 9th edition ITLS textbook for this class.
