Heartsaver® First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive.

Heartsaver® First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive.
Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aid emergencies.
This class is certified by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Upon completion students receive a Heartsaver® First Aid Course Completion Card which is valid for 2 years.

Students who take the online class receive the same training, the same certification and the same blue card as the other classroom, private or semi-private session students.
This training modality and others that we offer are approved and certified by the Los Angeles Fire Department in order to serve all students in the community.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
All of our CPR and First Aid courses meet OSHA requirements for CPR/ First Aid/ Bloodborne Pathogens Training and may be taught as a traditional classroom course, or a blended learning course with a combination of online time and in-person practice skills sessions.
This first aid, AED, and CPR certification course option is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, and the 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.
