Height Rescue And Evacuation With Practical Participation

The purpose of this training course is to provide information and knowledge as per work at height regulations 2005.

The Height rescue training that we provide is designed for all employees and others who work at height and have a responsibility to provide rescue in the event of a fall at height below and above ground level. 

Knowing that you will receive training at the highest standard from an instructor who has worked at height and has over 20 years of experience in the height sector.

Course Content:

• Course introduction – previous experience and knowledge.
• Planning for rescue (proactive) + how to create a rescue plan.
• HSE guidance and the laws relevant to working at height and rescue.
• Rescue at height, safe systems of work (method statement).
• Collective and individual requirements for rescue at height.
• Hazard and risk analysis (you must identify the risk when performing a live rescue).
• What procedure you must follow in the event of a fall from height.
• Harness and rescue equipment type bespoke to your working practice.
• Introduction of height safety rescue and edge protection equipment.
• Live demonstration of rescue kit at height using a rescue dummy.
• Live practical with course candidate participation.
• Training assessment of learners with group discussion.
