Heights Rescue Training is designed to enable trainees to work effectively at heights. Training is focused on:
Methods of accessing the work position
Using double hook lanyards
Using fixed ropes or fixed ladders (on communications towers)
Mobility at height
Work positioning methods
Abseiling techniques
Rescue techniques (self-rescue and "pick-off" techniques)
On completion of this course the participant will be issued with a Statement of Attainment:
PUAEME001 - Provide emergency care
PUAFIR210 - Prevent injury
PUASAR022 - Participate in a Rescue Operation
RIIWHS204E - Work safely at heights
Training is designed to be realistic and customised to suit your particular work situation (e.g. communications towers, energy transmission towers, or chair-lifts). This course is suitable for anyone who has the requirement to access rigs, towers or poles of any kind within their work.
We specialise in safety and technical training and Labour Hire Solutions across medium-to-high risk industries, including, Oil & Gas, Transport, Warehousing, Construction, Rail & Freight and Mining.
Working at heights is a high-risk activity and a leading cause of death and serious injury in Australia. A fall from any height is dangerous and accounts for around 11% of worker fatalities annually.
Lock out - tag out Awareness is a course which teaches the correct method to use the 'lock out - tag out' system, and provides students with the knowledge necessary to correctly place and remove LOTO tags and devices.
This unit applies to those working in site-based roles. Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories, and industry sectors, and must be sourced from state jurisdictions prior to applying this unit.

The Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) course covers the performance of rescue procedures from live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the workplace.
