The Dance Experience is proud to offer quality training in a caring environment. We have been raising happy, healthy dancers since 1989. We know that not every child who passes through our door will go on to a career in professional dance.
We truly believe that Dance is a wonderful and beneficial way for everyone to improve their confidence, self-esteem, and general well being. We make all of our dancers feel like special people and we make all of our classes FUN!
We are not obsessive regarding the perfection of a recital dance. The Janice Luey Dance Co. is primarily a recreational school, with a small competitive division.
Dance to hip hop or electronic music inspired by hip hop culture, the dancers will learn the current trends which are influenced by breaking, popping, locking and 90’s funk styles.
When practicing Hip-hop, the student will learn how to move and coordinate each part of their body as well as balance their body through a series of jumps and pins.
Classes range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. Students should wear baggy pants or jogging pants and tshirts or fitted shirts are acceptable. Sneakers are required.
The children will get to discover the joy of movement through fun and creative dance adventures.
