New to Hip Hop, but not messing around? This class is for the beginner dancer who is hungry for professional quality hip hop artistry (taught at a slower, more manageable pace)
A two hour class that consists of ballet, tap, jazz, and introduces hip hop. Dancers perform four routines, one in each genre, in our annual recital. At this level, dancers also perform in our finale number at recital.
Hip-hop refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States.
