Dancers interested in being a part of the CDA Crew must also be taking a CDA hip hop class.
DurationDancers interested in being a part of the CDA Crew must also be taking a CDA hip hop class. Dancers must be evaluated in the hip hop class and team rehearsals for a series of classes prior to being accepted to compete on the team.
The CDA Crew performs at area charity events, recital and regional dance competitions. Ages 5yrs and up. CREW will take a regular schedule hip hop class and one hour of additional technique training on Saturday. Prior to performances or competitions, the CREW may need additional practices.

Hip Hop is a grounded, street style form of dance usually performed to hip hop music, or music which emphasizes clear rhythms, beats and/or lyrics.
Students ages 7 and up are invited to join our fun, high-energy Hip-Hop class. Â Age appropriate movement and music are used in this fast-paced class. Â With its roots in street jazz, pop and lock, commercial, and pedestrian styles, Hip Hop is a constantly evolving form of dance.
This class focuses on various hip-hop techniques including popping, locking, and house elements. Students have opportunities to work on their own freestyle abilities. This class builds strength, stamina, and style through contemporary hip-hop movement.
Hip Hop Dance Class is offered by Uptown Dance Center. Our mission at Uptown is to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which the student can grow both mentally and physically as a dancer.
