DurationWe teach the SABOD (previously known as SADTA) Hip Hop Syllabus - Step Up to Level 12. Hip Hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip hop music or that have evolved as part of hip hop culture.
It includes a wide range of styles which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States. Love of Dance Academy aims to share, create and grow the love and passion that I have for dance with as many people as possible. Throughout my years of dancing and teaching others to dance, I have stumbled upon my purpose:
I would love to create an environment where people of all ages feel free to express themselves. The environment should feel safe, fun and non-judgemental. I always encourage students to concentrate on their own positives rather than negatives and to compliment others.
I teach my students to respect one another. I teach children to behave in class and I do not tolerate bullying - I believe if I teach children the right values in class, it will carry through to other areas of their lives. This ability to bring about positive change is what inspires me to do what I do.
I offer a wide variety of dance classes in the discipline of Modern and Hip Hop dance depending on age, gender and personal ability at the Moreleta Park studio. I also offer stretching, adult and wedding couple classes at the Monument Park studio.

Hip Hop - Junior Course is Offered by Progressive Music,Dance & Art school
Our unique and modern Pop class combines Hip-Hop and Jazz dance styles. We work on two dances per term and build on the improvement of technique and skills with each one.
Hip Hop course is offered by Johannesburg Academy for Theatre Arts.
Hip Hop Dance Course is Offered by The Beat Dance Studio.
This dance style represents body movements that go with the beat and rhythm of commercial and hip hop music
