The jazz/hip?hop class teaches fundamental jazz steps and combines the elements of hip?hop moves and contemporary music. We have found that the combination of jazz and hip?hop is ideal for this age.
Students learn the necessary elements of jazz which are crucial to success in hip?hop, but also get to learn hip?hop moves which require the coordination and balance learned from jazz.
When students complete this class, they are ready to progress to the next level, Hip?Hop Level 2.

Hip-hop refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States.
Hip Hop includes Afrodiasporic social dances and the dance form of Breaking. The choreography will include popular moves from past to present, such as the monastery and the woah.
Hip hop dance is a wildly popular, contemporary form of modern dance performed to hip hop and house music which has evolved and developed as a component of hip hop culture.
Hip Hop Dance Classes are offered by Dance Studio 111 for all ages. Apart from honing their dancing skills, we also instill good character traits in our dancers. Our teachers inspire students, teaching them life skills they can carry off the stage.
