Each class will develop your hip hop movement vocabulary as we build on choreography during the term.
The variety of hip hop choreography and street dance combinations will strengthen your foundational movement, as we groove in a relaxed and fun environment.
We teach the Royal Academy of Dance ballet syllabus, American Jazz Dance Affiliation jazz syllabus, and New Zealand Association of Modern Dance tap and contemporary syllabus, offering students the opportunity to sit annual examinations.
Our premises includes two spacious dance studios which can be opened out into one larger space, with polished wooden floors, barres and mirrors. We have a large waiting areas with viewing windows into each studio, as well as a uniform shop on site.
This is the perfect class for any budding dancer, this class will have a Hip Hop base and will explore all that is fun about modern dance.

For all our classes, learning choreography and sets offers opportunities to perform in productions and events.
Hip hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music that includes a variety of urban styles. Classes are taken by once a week with the goal of all students partaking in the July Hip Hop exams.
This class will introduce kids to the genre of hip hop.
