We have classes for students aged 5 years and up to Senior, plus our Hip Hop crew that performs and competes. Our Boys only class is just for the boys, high energy and a whole lot of fun with our Male Hip Hop / Breakdance teacher.
At Elite Dance Academy we provide dance classes in many genres of dance including Cecchetti Classical Ballet, Glenn Wood Tap, Jazz, Modern Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Breakdance, Musical Theatre, Broadway Jazz, Contemporary dance and Acrobatics. We now also have Ready Set Dance for our pre-school age students , this is a fabulous program providing Confidence , Creativity and Coordination.
Our qualified & experienced dance teachers are trained to provide professional lessons in a fun and supportive environment according to the relevant syllabus. The teachers constantly attend workshops and classes to bring new styles and techniques to the Elite Dance Academy.
The students learn to dance whilst improving their confidence, flexibility, co-ordination, posture and fitness. The students make new friends whilst dancing and performing.
A more freestyle form of dance, Hip Hop is an arena for dancers from the ages of 2.5 years and different experiences to incorporate their own style and flavour. With this in mind, there is still a focus on correct technique including body placement and alignment.
These classes do not follow a strict syllabus, but allow the students to experience a variety of styles in a relaxed setting. Using top 40 music; the classes work to develop flexibility, strengthen kicks, turn, jumps and other elements of dance and include hip-hop, funk, and cheerleading moves.
A stylised combination of street funk, hip hop and pop similar to styles seen in music video clips which In addition to being lots of fun, these classes are disciplined, progressive and well structured.
These classes suitable for 12 years of age to adults will teach students routines to Hip Hop & RnB music with the latest moves as well as help them explore experimental freestyle.
