Every class begins with a thirty minute warm-up led by Lead Hip Hop Teacher, Ramiro Vaughan, followed by a 90 minute focused session with master teachers. The session portion of the class will explore a different focus each day, including Popping, Threading, Dance Hall, Light Feet, Dance Party, and Shuffle/House. The Hip Hop Dance Intensive is designed so that students can experience a range of styles and have opportunities to grow individually and with peers.

Civic Dance Arts Beginner Hip Hop 1A is a fun and engaging class designed to introduce your child to the basics of hip hop dance. Students will learn how to warm up, stretch and do strengthening exercises to music and learn basic hip hop steps and combinations to music.
