Hip Hop / Street dance is a fusion of a wide range of styles including breaking, funk, popping and locking to name just a few. Hip Hop, rap and commercial music is the platform that choreographers use to create energetic fun routines.
Our unique and modern Pop class combines Hip-Hop and Jazz dance styles. We work on two dances per term and build on the improvement of technique and skills with each one.
Hip Hop is highly energetic. It does not require a ballet technique. In this style the dancer requires great rhythm, vibe, energy and attitude. Hip Hop evolved from a number of cultures and is very popular amongst the youth.
Hip Hop Dance Classes are offered by M.E. Dance Academy for all youth. Hip Hop classes available from 11am every Saturday , private classes also available .
