HIV AIDS Awareness

South Africa has the highest HIV/AIDS epidemic in the world with over 7 million people in our country infected. That is almost 21% of the entire world’s HIV/AIDS infected people living in one country. HIV/AIDS can infect anyone.

After completing the course, delegates will understand the difference between HIV and AIDs, understand the stigmas that are attached to the disease, how the disease is spread, how to prevent getting infected and spreading the disease, what happens to your body once infected and the treatment of the disease.

With HIV and AIDS being such a large global pandemic, affecting millions of people, we all need to be aware of the virus and how we can live and work together with those infected with HIV and AIDS.
