Specific Outcomes:
Empirical Multidisciplinary Institute is accredited by HWSETA, ETDPSETA, and the QCTO. SETAs are Skills Education Training Authorities, established under the South African Skills Development Act (97 of 1998). SETA sets specific standards for training providers and quality assures the quality of training, assessment, and moderation of the accredited programmes.
The AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) Program is the training arm of HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Program. The AETC Program is a national network of leading HIV experts who provide the knowledge.
The HIV/AIDS Awareness course covers a comprehensive range of topics on HIV/AIDS in the workplace. Research shows that only a very small percentage of employers educate their staff around HIV/AIDS.
This course teaches you to inform and counsel clients pre-testing, help clients create a risk reduction plan tailored to them and their HIV status post-testing – as well as providing information around other health issues (including, TB, STIs, hypertension and diabetes).
This course provides a broad introduction to HIV/AIDS awareness in the workplace. It introduces knowledge about HIV/AIDS awareness that will enable learners to be informed and caring workers in industry and managers to develop appropriate policies to deal with the pandemic.
HIV Awareness training is offered by KPNM Safety Solutions (Pty). Training and courses provide employers, managers, supervisors, and workers with awareness and and understanding of workplace hazards and how to identify, report, and control them.
