This course if for students who can use at least present tense such as I live, I work, I go, etc and past verb tense such as I bought, I worked, I rented, etc. It is not suitable for complete beginners.
You will gain confidence in conversation skills, talking about past events, future, holidays, likes and dislikes. You will also learn to describe places, people, or objects in the past and how to talk about specific events and routines that happened in the past.
You will be taught new vocabulary; grammar and you will learn about present, past and future tenses.

This course is suitable for students with no previous knowledge of Spanish, very basic knowledge (i.e. some words, greetings, some experience on Duolingo) or who attended a Beginner 1 many years ago.
This level is for students who have completed Beginners Plus or studied the equivalent elsewhere. If you are unsure of your level we strongly recommend that you check with the tutor before enrolling, as it is not always possible to transfer you after a course has started.
Spanish is the 2nd most widely spoken language in the world. At la Academia in South Manchester, we have teachers from South America and Spain enabling us to explain the nuances in cultures as well as the variations in the Spanish language.
This is not a Spanish course nor do we give Spanish lessons as such. Learning and improvement comes naturally as week by week you encounter the spoken language in conversation in a social setting or from entertaining guest speakers.
