Holistic Massage Theory & Practice – Face to Face Classes

From aspects of touch, through to the use of major massage strokes, benefits and contraindications.  Topics include:

• The principles of Therapeutic Body Massage.

• Supervised, hands-on approach to teaching practical massage skills.

• Guidance & demonstrations on a sequenced holistic massage routine.

You will learn about setting up in business, and the key tools you need to start your own practice.

• Concepts and practice of hygiene.

• Health & Safety related to clinical practice.

• Prepare a business plan for your practice.

Principles and Practice of Complementary Therapies – Online

• History and Origins of Complementary Therapies.

• Identify commonly available Complementary Therapies.

Overview

Holistic Massage is your foundation course into Complementary Therapy. This is a level 3 accredited professional qualification. Our IPHM and FHT holistic massage course is more than just a foundation course. 

We teach you all the classical Swedish massage techniques that equip you with practical and theoretical skills. In our Holistic Massage we focus on how you can bespoke your treatment for your client, so, we have included some Sports,  Deep Tissue and Advanced Massage Techniques in our practical routine. You will have access to instructional videos covering a full body massage routine.

This accredited course will enable you to gain employment in the Holistic Massage Industry. 

Our Holistic Massage course will enable you to confidently treat a variety of clients with conditions such as: Stress, Headaches, Chronic aches and pains, Computer strain. The comprehensive routine will allow you to confidently offer many treatment options for your client.
