Course Details

This Home Fire Safety Assessment (HFSA) face to face training is taking place over various dates and times across 2022/23. There are three dates to choose from. We will be delivering face to face at our Bury Safety Centre located on Wellington Street, Bury. There is a lunch provided at the end of the session.

The session will last 3 hours and is suitable for people who work with or on behalf of people at increased risk of fire. The session is delivered by the GMFRS Prevention Training team.

 

In the session you will learn about:

  • The harm caused by dwelling fires.
  • How GMFRS reduces the risk of dwelling fires.
  • What a Home Fire Safety Assessment (HFSA) is.
  • Identifying people at increased risk of fire.
  • How to make an HFSA referral
  • Fire safety in the home including topics such as the five main causes of fire.
