Robin Trust offers an excellent homebased care course for individuals interested in becoming carers. The course includes four weeks of theoretical training and 10 weeks of practical training at our sub-acute facility in Pinelands and other relevant facilities provided by Robin Trust.
Our practical training includes five weeks of 12-hour day duty shifts and five weeks of 12-hour night duty shifts.
At the end of the course, each carer will be equipped with knowledge and practical skills to care for the frail, elderly, ill and clients with debilitating diseases. Only candidates meeting the standard of quality required, receive their qualification as a carer.
Weekly or bi-weekly communication with clients, families and other health care providers are encouraged to keep loved ones updated. Carers have an open line of communication with the support staff in the office.

Our course is accredited, recognized internationally and verified by South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health CPD 5 points.
