DurationWe teach adults and children from the age of 6 years old. All of our lessons are 1 hour in length and are taken either in our covered indoor arena or outdoor menage. Our weight limit is 90 Kilos (approximately 14.1 stone)
We teach a mix of group and private lessons seven days a week from 9 am to 6 pm (some later lessons available Monday to Friday on request).
We supply boots and hats for free to loan for your lesson but should you wish to bring your own, your hat needs to be British Safety Standard and boots or shoes with a smooth sole and a definite small heel. Long trousers to be worn please.
Dulwich Riding School is approved by the Association of British Riding Schools and has recently been awarded a five star Health and Safety approval from our local Council. Dulwich Riding School was founded in 1961 by Mr James Thomas Bellman Himself an expert horseman and instructor.
Who spent a lifetime with horses and riders. The late Mr Bellman passed on his knowledge and riding school to his daughter Linda Gray who has sadly now passed away too, she has passed the Riding School onto Jaye Montebello, her daughter, the current Manager and Proprietor.
Horse Riding Lessons is offered by Docklands Equestrian Centre. Docklands Equestrian Centre is a BHS & ABRS approved riding centre and offers riding lessons and training all the year round.
Horse Riding Lessons is offered by Woodredon Equestrian Centre. With our team of professional qualified coaches here at Woodredon, we can cater for both adults and children, all abilities from 2 years old and up.
Horse Riding Lessons is offered by Barnfields Riding School. Our horses are very well schooled and many have been looking after riders for a number of years so they really do know their job!
We are passionate about providing quality, professional training for riders of all levels and you can see the development we help our riders achieve as part of their experience with us.
We offer both Intermediate and Advanced Group lessons. The group lessons give the opportunity to learn with other riders of a similar level.
