Under the OHS Act 2004 (section 67), all elected HSRs and deputy HSRs are entitled to undertake WorkSafe Victoria-approved HSR initial OHS training and choose their course in consultation with their employer. Chisholm Institute is approved by WorkSafe to deliver the HSR Initial OHS Training Course.
DurationThis WorkSafe-approved training course will help an HSR and Deputy HSR understand and effectively exercise their powers, protections and entitlements under the OHS Act 2004. OHS training equips HSRs/DHSRs with the confidence, skills and knowledge to represent their designated work group and to help make their workplace safer.
