Our HELM(M) course meets the standards as laid down by the UK Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) and draws on many years of experience from our parent company, Integrated Human Factors Ltd (IHF), in providing first class Human Factors training programmes and consultancy throughout the world. Our instructors are all subject matter experts in Human Factors, and many are veterans from the UK Armed Forces.
Pre-Course Requirements
Delegates should hold a deck certificate of competency (CoC) at the operational level and meet the minimum seagoing service requirements.

Assessment and Certification
The HELM(M) course is continually assessed and includes a written assessment. On completion of the course, delegates will receive the HELM(M) STCW (tables A-11/2 and A-11/3) certificate.
