Course Details

This course is three days of theory and practical instruction in the lab. Students will have their new knowledge tested through quizzes, worksheets, classroom written assignments and hands-on lab assignments.

They will receive a Certificate of Completion from MCAS. This course will cover the following:

  • A/C electricty
  • Capacitors
  • Drawing and reading intermediate wiring diagrams
  • Motor theory
  • Troubleshooting motors
  • Thermostat and control wiring
  • Troubleshooting heating and cooling control circuits

HVAC Level 1 must be completed prior to registering for HVAC Level 2.

  • MCAS/Merit Member: $1500 plus GST
  • Non-Member: $1800 plus GST
