A private pilot license (PPL) or a private pilot certificate, is a license that permits the holder to act as the pilot in command of an aircraft privately (not for pay).
Perfect aviation career start course, and ideal for those who want to fly for fun!A private pilot license (PPL) or a private pilot certificate, is a license that permits the holder to act as the pilot in command of an aircraft privately (not for pay).
The requirements to obtain the license are determined by the International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO), but the actual implementation varies widely from country to country.
According to the ICAO, it is obtained by successfully completing a course with at least 40 hours of flight time, passing required written exams, completing an extensive solo cross country flight (minimum cumulative solo flight time is 10 hours), and successfully demonstrating flying skills to an examiner during a flight test or check-ride (including an oral exam).
In the US pilots can be trained under Title 14 of federal code part 141 which allows them to apply for their certificate in as little as 35 hours. However, most pilots require 40-50 hours of flight time to complete training.
The minimum age for a private pilot certificate is 16 for balloons and gliders, and 17 for powered flight (airplanes, helicopters, and gyro-planes). Pilots can begin training at any age and can solo balloons and gliders at age 14, powered aircraft at age 16.

Flight & Ground Training
Summary of the estimated flight training hours. The FAA regulations do not specify minimum required classroom time for candidates who want to obtain their private pilot license. So, it is up to a flight training facility and a student's personal flight instructor to determine the required study hours.
Because we offer Part 61 training at our FTP's facilities, we require our students to sit the following theoretical knowledge curriculum:
The main problem with 99% of the flight training program out there is the lack of follow-through support for the needs of international students.
This means that 99% of international student pilots who graduate from flight training programs in the United States and Canada are simply "dropped" by their flight schools to look for employments with 200 hours and a basic CPL.
And it is very hard. We know how hard it is, because we have gone through this pathway and we are sure of where it leads: unemployment, depressions, desperation, and... expiration of pilot license currency.
Aerocadet has changed all of this: our programs are designed specifically with the needs of international students in mind. Your needs. We know what it takes to find your dream airline job.
So, we have designed our programs in such a way, that our graduates get important pilot work experience, build significant flight time, and become airline employment ready right after the graduation.
And we stand by our graduates by guaranteeing them speedy permanent employment placement. So, welcome to where you belong.Welcome to where you are cared for.Welcome to Aerocadet.
