ICDL Advanced Database Direct Delivery course is designed for learners who are using the Database software and want to enhance their competence in designing and using Databases and in creating advanced database structure and outputs.

ICDL Advanced Database course enables learners to enhance their skills, knowledge and expertise and become highly skilled and proficient in creating and using databases. This course is interactive and packed with exercises, it enables delegates to apply what they have learnt in the workplace and prepare for the ICDL Advanced Database exam.

The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) qualification has been rebranded by the awarding body to International Certification of Digital Literacy (ICDL) reflecting its international reach.  Advanced Database (AM5) is part of the Level 3 ICDL Advanced course.

ICDL Advanced Database direct delivery (remote or in house) 2-day course enables learners to develop existing knowledge, skills and expertise in using the Microsoft Database software to advanced level whilst supporting the demands of the workplace. ICDL Advanced Database provides the basis for the theory and practice-based ICDL Advanced Database test.

This ICDL Advanced Database direct delivery course is interactive, and packed with exercises, it enables learners to effectively prepare for their exams through enhancing their understanding of the key concepts of database and using relational database applications to create advanced database structure and outputs.

 

Upon completion of the course, learners should become fully competent in the following:

  • Understanding key concepts of developing and using database
  • Creating relational databases by using advanced features for creating tables and complex relationships between tables
  • Designing and using queries to create tables, updating, deleting and appending data
  • Using controls and sub-forms for enhancing forms and improving functionality
  • Creating report controls to perform calculations
  • Creating sub-reports and enhancing report presentation
  • Working with macros and use linking and importing features to integrate data and enhance productivity.
