Opened in 2013 by its Principal Sam Riley, The Academy is based in Arnold and has purpose built dance studios, and a comfortable waiting area. The dance studios have sprung floors, mirrors and ballet barres. The waiting area has viewing windows for parents to enjoy watching our classes.
Our aim is to offer expert tuition led by qualified industry professionals in Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics, Street, Commercial, Lyrical, Jazz, Drama and Musical Theatre. All classes take place in a fun and safe environment where pupils can learn the techniques of the Performing Arts industry but also build confidence, encourage creativity, enhance social skills and make new friends.
As well as our weekly classes, we also offer many exciting opportunities including, examinations, competitions, festivals, workshops with industry professional, performances and annual showcases.
We believe the discipline of dance training gives young people a better understanding of commitment through learning, experiencing the spirit of teamwork and discovering what they can accomplish through hard work.
There really is something for everyone at The Academy whether you’re a budding performer or you merely want to come for fun!
This class help individuals to gain confidence, boost self esteem, make new friends, keep fit and healthy and also give dancers a focus and outlet away from school, technology and work.

Mini Tap classes are offered by Dancin' Motion. Classes are taught by a team of 7 Amazing dancers & choreographers, we offer fun, modern & exciting dance classes for children aged 3-18.
Adult Tap classes are offered by Rising Stars Academy Of Dance and Theatre. Our school offers a friendly and inclusive atmosphere where children and young adults can develop and expand their knowledge at their own pace.
