Who should take it?
Students intending to pursue their associate’s, bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate degree
International students who wish to pursue undergraduate or graduate study at an
American college or university that requires IELTS test scores should take this test. Note that the student must attain a certain minimum score on the test in order to gain acceptance to the college or university. Students should check with the institution to find out what minimum score it requires on the IELTS.

This class prepares you to excel on all four sections of the IELTS: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. You’ll practice test strategies and English skills, and you’ll get constant feedback from your instructor on your performance.
DCE’s IELTS Test Preparation Course is an 8-week, 30-hour, in-person course held two evenings each week. This course will help you prepare for a greater score on the IELTS.
IELTS™ is a test, developed in the UK and Australia, to evaluate students' English proficiency. Recently, many American universities require either a TOEFL® score, or an IELTS™ score.
American English does not. American English is easily the gold standard of global business communication and you will want IELTS on your resume’ to solidify you portfolio.
IELTS test course is offered by The English Academy for all skill levels. The classes should include instruction on all four sections of the test, practice materials and exercises, and test-taking strategies.
