IELTS

The IELTS examination has become a collaborative testing by many countries to assess English language competency. This test is required for aspirants that need English language education. IELTS is helpful in college, immigration, or job training. It is a widely utilized English language exam along with TOEFL. It is taken mostly by well-liked pupils of India. This standardized test is also recognized by more than 10,000 academic institutions and professional companies.

IELTS cleared candidates can also get jobs in companies, academic colleges, and human resources. Therefore IELTS has become the common exam for numerous job migrants and students. It has helped in determining English qualifications for work or study in the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, etc.

Format of the IELTS Exam:
The IELTS exam is divided into two main categories.

One is for students and academic staff (Academic), and the other for all employment-related migrants (General). Besides these classifications, there are general and academic tests portions. Within each scoring section the score is merged to provide a grading system. Mostly the 6.5 band is considered acceptable for immigration in many participating countries.

The main sections of the IELTS exam are as mentioned below:

Listening: Four components for which ten questions are asked in every segment.

Reading: 

For academics there are four reading passages. Followed by a series of questions and assignment categories. For the General category there are only three sections.

Three short texts are to be included in Section

1. Similarly Two paragraphs make up Section 2 and 3 respectively.
Writing: Every complex writing project must be completed in this section. Two articles to write and complete the General section.

Speaking: 

The Speaking assessment involves a live conversation. The examinees and the examiners have to undertake a fulfilling conversation. These are normally held independently from the other three components on another date. The speaking exams are also recorded for assessment.
