Topics include current safety training, relevant policy, and procedures, how to recognize and mitigate risk and maintain safe and effective practices while working under agency supervision on an incident.
Upon successful completion of training, participants will receive a course completion card valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.

The course is designed satisfy OSHA's fire protection standard at 29 CFR 1910.157 for employees designated by their employer to use portable fire extinguishers in the workplace. Employees learn to select the right fire extinguisher for the job, and use it correctly.
