The Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Certificate is a professional development certificate designed to meet the basic educational needs of front line health care professionals in, or considering a career in, the field of infection prevention and control.
The IPC Certificate is offered through the University of British Columbia Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and School of Population and Public Health in conjunction with the Vancouver Hospital Division of Medical Microbiology and Infection Control.
The first students were awarded the IPC Certificate in 2007; to date, 123 students have received the Certificate.
